Family Federation Update
Family Federation Holds Regional Meeting at Mount Schoenstatt
On Oct. 12, the Southern Region of the U.S. Apostolic Family Federation met at Kentenich Hall.
The group gathered in prayer and song in the Cor Unum in Patre Shrine before meeting in Kentenich Hall. After a short meal, each couple from several federation courses in Texas introduced themselves to Raul and Silvia Vinas, the lead couple for the International Family Federation of the Schoenstatt Movement, who provided the group with an update on Schoenstatt International.
There are Apostolic Federations for men, priests, single women, mothers, and families. All were founded by Father Joseph Kentenich, founder of the Schoenstatt Movement. Belonging to an Apostolic Federation is just one of the many ways one can be involved in the Schoenstatt Movement. There are also Apostolic Leagues, which include the Mothers Branch, Family Branch, Girls Youth Branch and Young Professionals that we have here in the Schoenstatt Movement of San Antonio.
All of these groups are united in the same charism: the Covenant of Love with our Mother Thrice Admirable!
